Rex our amazingly lovable and friendly Black Labrador is going to be 11 years old on October 20th. 2010 has brought many families to the farm once again, everyone looking forward to meeting or reuniting with Rex, he really is the 'Star' of the farm. Each one of our families who have stayed with us over the years have always had the kindest of words for him. “Rex is great, such a lovely dog, so gentle with Abi and Josh .” “The only drama in the week was when Rex brought Snowy – the white rabbit, out of the barn (he had escaped from his pen), he was looking for Gilly and Richard. Luckily Rex being a Labrador, has a really soft mouth. Snowy was only soggy and frightened. She is fine now, having dried out and recovered from shock.” “And a big thank you to our great friend `Rex`, who made the holiday for the kids.” “Rex a few pounds heavier, very partial to a malted milk biscuit of a morning.”. “As for Rex, it goes without saying he is the star of the farm.” “In the years I have been asked at school, what was my best holidays, and best animal, I always chose Rex and the farm, with farmer Richard because its great.” “P.S. Kids all said they would miss Rex the life and soul of the farm! We took loads of photos of him, so have the kids, to have as our own little memory of Fentrigan Manor Farm. Also gave him a slap up meal of burger, sausage and chips on our last night. Hope you don’t mind, I’m sure he didn’t ."
