welcome to Fentrigan Manor Farm

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Fentrigan Manor Farm, tucked away amidst peaceful countryside,
a quarter of a mile down its own private lane. A wagonhouse and stables once servicing the old manor have been carefully converted to offer very comfortable accommodation.

Spring on the farm is a wonderful season, wild flowers in abundance adorning the banks of the narrow lanes, daffodils in the gardens and lambs in the fields. An exhilarating hike across the wind-swept headlands is guaranteed to blow the mid-winter blues away.

During the summer, Fentrigan offers the best of both worlds, many summertime activities and attractions, fine beaches, and yet a quiet place to come home to.

In the autumn, enjoy brisk walks on the moors or the beach and return home to warm yourself in front of the log fire. Why not visit North Cornwall at Christmas and enjoy a carol concert in an ancient church? Step aboard a steam train for a mince pie ramble or relax by a cosy fire in one of the local inns.

Whenever you choose you are sure to be able to unwind and ‘get away from it all’. We offer a special tariff for out of season breaks.

All our cottages are equipped with Freeview colour TV's and DVD players.

Whatever you need to make your holiday special, you’ll be sure to find it at Fentrigan Manor Farm!

The mixed farm comprises of 220 acres of cereals, cattle and sheep. Visitors are welcome to watch the farming activities. There is a pets' corner with hens, pigs and calves to help feed, with bottle-feeding of lambs from Easter to June. Pony rides are also available. From the farm, visitors can enjoy lovely walks, with views of Lundy Island and the sea. From the end of the lane you can walk across to the legendary hill of Warbstow Bury and enjoy breathtaking views of Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the coastline. Around the farm wildlife is abundant, with rabbits, foxes, deer, badgers, bats, owls and buzzards.

Before 1540 the manor was part of the Tywardreath Priory, the monks making their journey from Barnstaple to Truro would use it as a half-way house. The Grigg family has farmed here since the 17th Century.
