I had a fantastic week here again, third time for us now, better every time!
Barry, Bernadette and Thomas Sept 2011
I wish I lived here. I love Rex and Oscar (the dogs), Sadie and Jerry (the ponies) and all the other animals. I love feeding them and helping get them from the field.

Very, very sad to be leaving after a lovely relaxing week spent in The Old Stables. Back next year - can’t wait! Sandra and Ellen August 2011
The children played from early morning till 8 at night not wanting to leave the farm; not hearing the words, ‘I’m bored’, for a whole week has been heaven.
Steve, Nicky, Ben, Jo and Abi June 2011
Had great trips out; fish n’ chips on Polzeath beach, sightseeing at King Arthur’s Tintagel, Boscastle Harbour, Tamar Otter Park, New Mills Farm Park, the Steam Train from Launceston, Crackington Haven and Harlyn Bay. Also enjoyed a lovely walk through the farm fields to the fishing lake.
Dan, Jo, Bethia and Naomi June 2011
…the children loved playing in the toy barn and so did their dads!
Gemma, Peter, Jake and Charlie June 2011
…definitely recommend the clay pigeon shooting as Rob the Instructor is excellent…
Bernard Family (Hong Kong) July 2011
Weather not so good, so the log fire was very welcome after the good fishing down at the lake and clay pigeon shooting.
Nightingale Family June 2011
…the atmosphere here at Fentrigan is wonderful, Richard is fantastic with the children and recruited lots of budding farmers this week. Keep up the tennis Richard, Cameron will play you again next year.
Tracey, Cameron and James April 2011
It was our first time at the farm and it exceeded our expectations, the cottage was a home from home, it was so cosy to get settled in. The girls loved the animal feeding and herding the sheep, each morning they were at the door waiting!
The Flooks August 2011
We made lots of friends, I extremely enjoyed the playbarn because it had all the things a child would want. Sophie and Charlotte August 2011
My highlights were going in the quad bike trailer, riding on Sadie the pony with Gill plus having ace tennis lessons with Rachel.
Lucy April 2011
Our first visit to Fentrigan - wow, what a fab week!
The Maynes August 2011
Finn reckons the sheep are tricky but he absolutely loved feeding the calves. Ellie said her favourite was the brown-faced guinea pig and Beth was rather fond of the piglets.
The McLaulans July 2011
The cottage meets our needs perfectly and Richard and Gilly were helpful and friendly - our only complaint is we can’t stay longer.
Damian, Amy, Pete, Eve, Naomi and Niki
We had wonderful fresh farm eggs and bacon for breakfast…
Our new neighbours (the barn owls) were lovely to watch….
There is so much to do in and around this site….
…take advantage of a perfect setting with superb hosts…
Great location, lovely safe farm and breathtaking views…
The kids have been in their element exploring the farm and helping with the animals…
My best holiday ever - fabulous to see our boys experience ‘real outdoors’.
…our cottage was lovely and clean, tidy, cosy and well equipped for all our needs…
I still can’t believe my timid 2 ½ year old sat on Sadie the pony!
Pool table was a hit with the boys…
Another great day and hike up to Tintagel - well worth the walk, we would definitely recommend a day at Trebarwith Strand and the glorious beach at Crackington Haven.
